It’s that time of the year again, where everyone begins eagerly to write up their resolutions for the year to come. So why don’t we write our skin care resolutions together, leaving all your bad skin care habits behind in 2020.

1. Hydrate

Drinking water in an adequate amount is really important for the overall health of your body, specifically your skin. If you don’t want skin problems like acne, dull skin, itchy skin, etc. you should always hydrate yourself with at least 8 glasses of water every day. Water helps in removing all the toxins from your body, which will make your skin glow, reduce your itchiness, which will also help in clearing up your skin

2. Double cleansing

Double cleansing is cleansing your face with two cleansers. One should always double cleanse even if you are not wearing makeup, as the sunscreen you apply on your face is also heavy and can clog your pores.
As a first cleanser, you can use Organic Micellar Water, to remove the upper layer of dirt and products from your skin and then use 6-in-1 Face Wash as your second cleanser, to clean out your pores.

3. Sunscreen

We know that you are aware of the fact that you should always apply sunscreen. Sun radiates UV rays which are very harmful to us and can cause tanning, burning, and other skin damages, and to save yourself from such harmful rays you need sunscreen. Use Organic Harvest’s Sunscreen with SPF 50 , it is the most SPF you will ever need and it’s suitable for all skin types.

4. Spa treatment

One thing 2020 has taught us all is that we need to give ourselves a break from our busy schedule. Once in a while, give yourself and your skin some special treatment. Make or order your favorite food, put your favorite movie on TV, and put your favorite sheet mask on. If you want to be a little extra, you can get yourself a 30 minutes makeover facial kit, and give yourself the break and treatment you and your skin deserves.

5. Moisturizing

One should always apply a moisturizer, irrespective of his/her skin type. Moisturizing every day can reduce the chance of developing extreme dryness or oiliness. Both extremes are harmful for the skin and can cause acne. You can choose a moisturizer according to your skin type, a light moisturizer like Radiance Face Elixir Cream can work great for oily skin and a heavy thick moisturizer like Daily Day Cream will work great for dry skin type.

6. Lip balm

Just like the rest of your face, even your lips need some care and in fact, the skin on your lips is thinner as compared to the rest of the skin, so it needs more care than the rest of your face. Take the resolution of always applying a lip balm on your lips, to give them the moisturisation it needs. You can try Organic Harvest’s lip balms; our favorites are the lip balms in fruity flavors, those are strawberry, pomegranate, and green apple lip balm.

7. Hair oiling

It’s time we listen up to our mothers and apply oil on our hair. Applying oil on your hair and massaging your scalp increases hair growth by stimulating the hair follicles and improving blood circulation.
Organic Harvest has different oils for different requirements of your scalp; they have hair oil for dandruff free hair, hair strengthening, hair fall control, and our good old coconut oil. So choose the one according to your needs and start applying it at least an hour before you wash your hair.

8. Hand cream

Hand creams are the need of the hour; because of how often we have started washing our hands, applying sanitizer, doing all household chores, all these activities make our hands super dry. To combat all that dryness, we need a good thick but non-greasy hand cream. Our favorite is the Organic Harvest lemon hand cream; it nourishes and sanitizes your hands, both at once. It helps in preventing further damage and leaves your hands soft and moisturized, and the lemon citrusy fragrance is just the cherry on top.

9. Toning

Toning helps in better absorption of the products you apply over it and it also helps in reducing the size of open pores. Especially if you have oily skin, you should introduce a toner in your routine. Organic Harvest’s Green Cucumber Toner is great for removing excess oil from your skin and also minimizing the size of large and open pores. It also has antibacterial properties which will prevent skin infection and the cooling properties of cucumber will help you soothe irritated skin.

10. Facial oils

Facial oils are a type of emollient, which means they help strengthen the outer layer of your skin, and they are usually plant-based. They are great for dry skin, to provide extra moisturisation, and even for someone facing skin issues like acne, itchy, or dull skin can use a facial oil. Something like a Tea Tree Essential Oil will help someone facing skin issues, a lot. Tea tree is rich in anti-bacterial properties and can kill bacteria and germs, thereby preventing acne, breakouts, etc. You can simply add 2-3 drops of essential oil to your regular moisturizer, before you apply it to your skin. Since essential oils are very concentrated; one should never directly apply them on their skin.
